Trees are fascinating. Wherever I travel, I am always aware of those that line my path and, on this occasion, the tree appeared to me as the most perfect specimen I had ever seen. There was no logical reason for this other than that, in that moment, its shape, size and position seemed to be simply... perfect! This tree, which is in Northumbria, is now part of my mental catalogue of “Trees that stopped me in my tracks”.
